Winako’s suits care guide
How to take care and wash your fursuit without damaging it
General rules :
-Never use heat in any way, it could damage or even melt the fur (including hot water)
-Be sure to always disinfect your fursuit
-I recommend a mild soap or soft detergent.
-Be careful while brushing the suit.
-Always brush the fur while drying
-Be careful with painted parts such as piercings. Although they are varnished, be careful and gentle when washing them.
Head :
-/!\ Always be gentle with the fur /!\
-Use a bissel if you can
-The head can be submerged in water. However, I do not recommend putting the head in the washing machine.
-For the inside, you can use some cold water and soap or a fursuit spray
-For the outside, you can use soap and water and gently rub the parts that need to be cleaned
-Be sure to squeeze as much as water as you can

Warning! All fursuits made before 2026 do not have waterproof eyes. Therefore, if you have a suit made by me before 2026, do not submerge the head in water and never get the eyes wet!!
Tail, arms, body and paws :
-You can wash them in soapy water or in the washing machine (cold only)
-If you're washing a digitgrade bodysuit, remove the padding first.
-Let them air dry
-Be sure to squeeze as much as water as you can
-Be careful with the seams when cleaning bodysuits. Bodysuits can sometimes become very heavy due to the water
